The ISC 2024 paper submission process concluded successfully, with all accepted papers published by Springer LNCS. The planned publication date was set for the end of December 2024, marking a key milestone for the conference and its contributors.
Researchers were invited to submit their work in the categories of full papers, short papers, and abstracts, following the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) template. Accepted regular and short papers were included in the post-proceedings of the conference, ensuring visibility within the prestigious LNCS series by Springer.
In addition to the proceedings, several Special Issues were organized by the DSA, offering further opportunities for researchers to publish extended and original contributions:
Mathematics – Operations Research and Intelligent Computing for System Optimization (Deadline: October 31, 2024)
Algorithms – Hybrid Intelligent Algorithms and Intelligent Computing for Practical Decision Making in Business and Industry (Deadline: November 30, 2024)
Computers – Informatics – Information – Logistics – Mathematics – Algorithms – Decision Science Applications and Models (DSAM) (Deadline: December 31, 2024)
All submissions underwent a rigorous peer-review process, and extended versions of conference papers were required to provide significant novel contributions.
The conference further contemplated a post-conference Special Issue in Mathematics for selected papers that were substantially revised and expanded beyond their conference versions.
To be included in the proceedings, authors were required to register and present their papers at ISC 2024, with a maximum of one presentation allowed per participant.
The final deadline schedule was as follows:
Submission Date – March 15, 2024
Acceptance Notification – March 22, 2024
Final Papers Due – April 17, 2024
Early Bird Registration – April 30, 2024
ISC 2024 thus served as a strong platform for advancing decision science and fostering high-quality academic contributions through both conference proceedings and international journal special issues.
