This workshop, starting from a few anecdotes derived from the work of the WG and the direct experience of the moderator, aims to stimulate a discussion around the key success factors for effective Decision Science application in the Age of AI: integration of science, ICT and business; models vs. data; services vs. solutions; bringing the user at the centre; manage acceptance in complex organisational settings; impact of AI on Decision Science. 

Matteo Pozzi is one of the founders of the EURO Working Group on Practice of OR (now evolved into the EURO Practitioner’s Forum), that since 2016 gathers professionals and practitioners around a fundamental mission: how to make scientific excellence in ORMS work for real business, creating an impact. 

We will learn from each other, sharing best practices as well as horror stories, to increase our awareness of what it takes to make it really work!
